An undergraduate of Buffalo State College and graduate of Medaille College, April Radder holds a degree in Art Education, Elementary Education, Student's with Disabilities and is a NYS certified teacher in 5 areas. She is currently teaching Art at Truman Elementary School in the Lackawanna City School District. She also teaches art after school with Lackawanna Middle Schoolers, through the YWCA. April is a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and positive role model to students in both her elementary classes and after school middle schoolers. Along with her studies in education, she has focused on writing and illustrating her first children's book and continuously seeks to improve in her own art abilities. April hopes to bring a combination of her talents into the classroom to help encourage and motivate her students in creating art. She believes her abilities and willingness to be a life long learner will make a positive contribution to both the students and the community.
